It’s about a 15-minute rickshaw ride to the ghats, which I found perfect because you can easily escape back to this peaceful bubble when the intensity of the holy city gets overwhelming. The area has proper roads (trust me, this matters in Varanasi), and there’s decent parking if you’re brave enough to drive here yourself.
